Purpose:

Born out of the calamity of the Watts riots, the Kappa Leadership Development League was the Los Angeles Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi’s response to its recognized duty to make a difference in the Los Angeles community. The Kappa League, a Guide Right initiative, has been sponsored in Willingboro, NJ, since 2013. Kappa League has seven separate but mutually interactive phases: self-identity, training, competition, social and health education, economic empowerment, colleges, and careers. Activities, which vary from attending cultural affairs to conducting college tours to learning proper etiquette in formal and informal settings, are all generated from the nucleus of the seven phases.
